Axial CT images of a 62-year-old man with a 60-mm mass in the right lower lobe. (a-c). The coaxial introducer was passed through the chest wall and pleura step by step to reach the inside of the lesion. Needle-pleura angle was 80° and the procedure time was 16 mins. Patient reported a pain score of 5. (d). The photomicrograph showed that the pathological result was squamous cell carcinoma (Hematoxylin-eosin stain, ×100).
