The patient’s body mass index was 32.5. 18F-FDG PET images (axial slice A, zoomed MIP view B) show an indeterminate 18F-FDG focus located in the left liver lobe, segment 2 (black arrows) slightly more intense than the surrounding background seen in the right liver lobe (A, dotted black arrow). Given that liver metastasis is the main pattern of spread of uveal melanoma, follow-up was performed at 3 months and confirmed metastatic liver disease (D, E and F, black arrow)
