From: Magnetic Resonance Elastography reveals effects of anti-angiogenic glioblastoma treatment on tumor stiffness and captures progression in an orthotopic mouse model

Fig. 6

Graphs depicting the temporal evolution of tumor volume (black dots), MRE-parameters |G*| (red dots) and phase angle Y (blue dots) of the tumors are shown for untreated control animals (a) and animals treated with B20 anti-VEGF-antibody (b). In controls (A), tumor volume progressively increased, while |G*| and Y decreased. During anti-angiogenic treatment (B), tumor volume only increased at the last time point. |G*| trended to decrease. The phase angle Y significantly decreased 10 days after tumor implantation. Lines represent means and standard error of the mean. No error appears for tumor volume in treated animals at day 8 after tumor implantation, as the standard error is so small that the error bar would be shorter than the size of the symbol. Asterisks in A and B indicate the level of significance derived from a two-way ANOVA followed by Bonferroni’s test for multiple comparisons
