Example of 68Ga-PSMA-positive lung metastases in a PC patient. a, b: 68Ga-PSMA-PET/CT of a 50-year-old patient with a recurrent acinar adenocarcinoma of the prostate and lung metastases. After the initial diagnosis in 2013, he had received a radical retropubic prostatectomy followed by androgen deprivation therapy. The initial GS was 4+4. PET/CT (a) was performed because of PSA-persistency after the surgery and illustrates disseminated, PSMA-positive lung metastases, with SUVmax-values up to 5.0. Red arrows point to examples of lung metastases in segments 1, 2 and 3. Besides, two spinal bone metastases und a residual tumor in the prostatic fossa were found.
