Fusion images of co-registered transaxial 18F-FDG PET and contrast-enhanced CT sections are shown. In the baseline scan SUVmax was 6.60 whereas the post-treatment study showed a SUVmax of 3.50. A 47% reduction of 18F-FDG uptake was found in this patient with partial response based on RECIST.
