A 38 year-old women with history of left breast cancer presenting with left arm pain. (a) Coronal T1-weighted, (b) coronal STIR and (c) coronal inverted greyscale maximum intensity projection of the b = 700 s/mm2 images. Scans demonstrate irregular thickening at the level of the cord and divisions of the left brachial plexus, appearing of low T1-signal intensity, intermediate to high STIR signal intensity, and shows low signal intensity impeded diffusion (arrows). The disease in this case, was scored “5” on both conventional imaging and on the combination of conventional imaging and DW-MRN.
