(B) Low-magnification (hematoxylin and eosin; original magnification, ×100) photomicrograph shows atypical pneumocytes proliferating consecutively along the thickened alveolar walls. (C) High-magnification (hematoxylin and eosin; original magnification, ×200) photomicrograph shows a spikelike growth of tumor cells.
