Non-fatty mass. A 73-year-old woman with invasive ductal carcinoma. Breast MRI before cryoablation (a, arrowhead) showing an irregularly shaped nodule of diameter 11 mm in the outer-lower quadrant of the left breast. The pre-cryoablation CT portion (b, arrowhead) and fusion image (c, arrowhead) of PET/CT show a solid nodule with abnormal FDG uptake (SUVmax, 1.78). The CT portion (d, arrow) and (e, arrow) fusion image of PET/CT that was obtained 11 months after cryoablation shows a non-fatty mass and subtle FDG uptake in the treated area (SUVmax, 1.86)
