From: Radiogenomics of breast cancer using dynamic contrast enhanced MRI and gene expression profiling
Schematic of radiogenomic pipeline and analysis. From each case we obtained fresh frozen tumor tissue as well as the corresponding set of dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI images of that tumor. Frozen tissue was then processed for total RNA extraction, sequencing, and expression quantification while the images were subjected to quantitative radiomic analysis after a staff radiologist indicated the tumor center for input. Final radiogenomic analysis combined these two datasets for gene set enrichment analysis
